Dear Anita
June and Jack Benedict were kind enough to give me your name as contact re: St. James Cemetery.
My first husband was a “Good” whose family came to the area as farmers hired by the Hudson’s Bay. In 1964, when my daughter V. Jean Hamilton, nee Good, was at Gordon Bell, one of her teachers, WG Speechley, was curious about the name Good, I am enclosing a copy of his letter to my father-in- law, Alfred Good, 1883-1969. This letter is self explanatory. He is buried in Memorial Kirkfield.
I am not certain, but believe his father was James Good – (B. 1847 – St. James Parish D.? St. James Parish). In any case, I have called Roy Good, in Saskatoon (my brother-in –law) asking him to contact you.
Also my parents, Ethel Louisa (Nee D---) and Percy D. Mainman are buried in St. James Cemetery- east of the church. Mother in 1943, and Dad in 1966. My sister, Blanche Ablett, lives on Hind Ave., and I have asked her to contact you about our family.
